New President's Message
The BOA is now under New Management! At the November meeting Lisa Bradt was elected Vice-President and yours truly President. The important other Officer positions remain unchanged. Thank you to those who have agreed to carry-out those functions again. It would be very remiss of me if I didn't thank T.J. for completing his two years as President. He has handed over the Club in a very healthy condition. He was very ably assisted by Jerry, thank you T.J. and Jerry. Our last meeting in 2006 was the Christmas Party. This was very well attended and it was nice to see some Members who have not shown for a while, welcome back. The choice of gifts was excellent and caused a lengthy exchange event. I hope most of you ended up with their preferred choice. All of this was made possible again by Kathy and Joe Gioffre who did a great job, thank you. They were assisted by Jim and Jerry (gift exchange), Lyn for making wonderful favors and Bill for making the Joker Game a feature of our meeting in January. Enough of the past, we have a high standard to maintain, and this needs Member participation, so please offer your help to Chair or Co-chair some of the events for next year. We will publish the proposed calendar for 2007 as soon as possible so if you have any ideas or requests for a program/event please advise one of the Officers or raise it at a meeting. One major project I am chairing is to find a 'new meeting' location. If you do not agree that we need one then please say it. We will discuss this at our first meeting in January, please come prepared. It is your Club and the majority rules.
Wishing you all a Happy New Year, look forward to seeing you,
Brian.
